How to increase Pretige, Raise Tuition

As reported in the Associated Press article "Missouri Tuition Hike could mean Prestige Boost" University of Missouri officials said that some out-of-state students and parents may equate a college's price tag with academic excellence and so could see the increased cost as a reflection of the university's prestige. Of course if the increased tuition revenues are just used to plug revenue shortfalls from other sources, the tuition increase may simply be preventing a decline in academic quality and prestige at the University.
